Brogan Group Hoists due to take off in Royal Docks
The Royal Gateway scheme, designed by architects Studio Egret West, will see 336 new homes built in five blocks on a two acre former bakery and light industry site.
As well as the homes the developers are promising artisan manufacturing units, shops, rooftop community gardens, and a pedestrianised walkway.
The development is due to for completion early 2017.
